Firstly, the basic structure and working principle of ball screws are introduced. Then, according to the mechanical model of ball screws, the formulas of static friction force and dynamic friction force of ball screws are derived, and the factors affecting the friction characteristics of ball screws are analyzed. Finally, the theoretical analysis results are verified by experiments, and the friction coefficient and friction force of ball screws are obtained with the relationship between speed and load, which provides a theoretical basis for the design and application of ball screws.
